In this role, you'll help design and build an eCommerce platform, supporting large-scale, high-availability services used by customers around the world.You'll focus on backend development using .NET/C#, integrating with third-party billing and identity providers, and delivering secure, scalable APIs in a modern Azure/AWS cloud environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET/C# (.NET 6 or later).Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal services and third-party integrations (billing, authentication, messaging).Implement and maintain secure, high-performance services in Azure and/or AWS.Work with product and architecture teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business needs.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support a DevOps-friendly engineering culture.Document services, integration points, and architecture decisions clearly and concisely.What You'll Bring:6+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development with .NET/C#.Strong understanding of web APIs, integration patterns, and cloud-native development.Proficiency with Azure and/or AWS, particularly with services like App Services, Functions, API Gateway, or messaging queues.Experience working with billing systems (., Maxio, Chargebee) and/or identity providers (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SSO).Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices - CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), IaC, monitoring, logging.Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design principles.Solid grasp of application security, authentication, and authorization.Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional Agile teams.Tech Stack Highlights:Languages/Frameworks: C#, .NET 6+, REST APIsCloud: Azure and/or AWSData: SQL Server, cloud databasesTools: Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes (nice to have)Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
