Due to continued business growth, they are now looking for a motivated and personable Trade Counter Sales Representative who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of the trade counter team, you will:Provide advice and product recommendations to trade and retail customers;Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and a professional attitude;Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently;Handle customer queries in person, by phone, and by email in a helpful and timely manner;Assist in merchandising, restocking, and maintaining well-presented displays;Support stock control processes, including stock checks and inventory updates;Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.BenefitsCompetitive salary €30,000 - €36,000 DOE + commission;Full-time, permanent role (Mon-Sat, flexibility required between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm);Performance-based incentives and commission;Staff discounts on a wide product range;Ongoing training and development opportunities;Supportive team environment with scope for career progression.CriteriaPrevious sales experience is required; candidates with strong enthusiasm for sales and a genuine eagerness to learn will also be considered;Experience in trade counter sales, retail, or customer service is desirable;Background or hands-on experience in construction, hardware, painting, trades, or similar industries would be a strong advantage;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Reliable, motivated, and customer-focused;This position could also suit someone coming from a trade or self-employed background who is seeking a change into a more sales-focused, customer-facing role.Interested?
