Health & Safety Engineer - PSDP - Engineering Consultancy - Dublin City, DublinOffice/Project Location: Dublin City, DublinEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location:  Office & site based with some hybrid working optionsPay: Negotiable depending on experienceExperience: 4+yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a leading engineering design consultancy with multiple offices in Ireland.They are seeking to appoint a Safety and Health Engineer / Safety Professional to be based in the Dublin office to work on a wide selection of projects around the country on which they act as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP). The role may also include working on projects where they have been appointed as health and safety coordinator by the PSCS (Project Supervisor Construction Stage).The successful candidate will be a motivated professional who will ensure the companies roles on project are discharged and develop a positive and active safety culture on their projects. Ensuring discharge of the role of PSDP on construction projectsAttending client/design and site meetingsPreparing preliminary safety and health plansCompiling and preparing safety filesPreparing health and safety reportsCarrying out site visitsCoordination and liaison with all parties involved in a construction projectReviewing the competence of duty holdersInspections and reports on legal cases concerning health and safetyWorking with contractors PSCS to discharge the role of PSCS on construction projectsRequirementDegree in Construction or a related discipline:Architect, Building Surveyor, Civil & Structural Engineer, Mechanical & Electrical Engineer4+ year experience working in the construction sectorPackage:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications with a company benefits package9-day fortnight whereby staff can take a day off every second FridayFlexible remote working policyFlexibility of working hoursPositive working environmentVariety of projectsSocial Committee events.Annual Leave increases with years of serviceEngineers Ireland CPD Company – All personnel are guaranteed minimum 5 days training per annumSports Social ClubCorporate Rate Gym MembershipCycle to Work SchemeTravel Saver SchemePension SchemeDeath in Service SchemeGroup Health Cover SchemePaid Professional MembershipsEmployee Assistance Programme
