Civil/Structural Project Engineer - Cork CityOffice/Project Location: Cork CityEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office BasedPay: Competitive Salary depending on experience Experience: 8+ YearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur Client is an engineering and project management consultancy with offices based in Cork and Dublin.Project management and supervision of construction and fit out projectsGeneral Construction setting out, Pipe Work, Drainage, foundations etcManagement and co-ordination of BCAR ActivitiesPreparation of tender documentation and construction drawingsPreparation of Fire Safety CertificatesCo-ordination of tender packages for large commercial projectsCivil engineering design of residential and commercial developmentsStructural engineering design of residential and commercial developmentsThe production of drawings, reports, calculations and structural specifications.RequirementsExcellent technical knowledgeHold a degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural EngineeringExperience use of Total Station, Dumpy level and Laser Levels, GPS base & rover kits, etcApplicants should be Chartered or enthusiastic to achieve Chartered status.The candidate should be proficient in, Design Software, Microsoft Office and AutoCADStrong interpersonal / people skillsStrong knowledge of current Irish Building RegulationsAbility to work well within strict deadlinesAbility to lead the design of small and large-scale projectsHave an ability to modify / improve existing designs to facilitate ease of construction.Have a flexible approach to work and an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.Manage multi-projects whilst ensuring all deadlines are met.Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical)Have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of theteam.Own transport is requiredPackagePermanent Position Competitive Salary depending on Experience
