Site Engineer - Civil Contractor - Tullamore - CarlowOffice/Project Location: Tullamore CarlowEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Site Based Pay: €Competitive Salary package and negotiable based on experienceExperience: 2+years experience on Civil / Water / Utility projectsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a multi-disciplined Utilities and Civil Engineering Contractor working with Local Authorities, Irish Water, Group Water Schemes, Local & County Councils.Due to continued growth and newly awarded contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, our client is now hiring a Site Engineer for Civil and Utilities projects based in Tipperary / Carlow covering the South East RegionLiaise with the Project Manager.Review Site Drawings & Specifications.Responsible for setting out the site accurately using total stationPerform site tasks, cube making, site activities log.Ensure sub-contractors, labourers and site staff are managed through effective communication and coordination.Coordinate and control plant and material on site.Understanding company policies with regard to quality.Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended.Comply with all Health and Safety policies.Assist in managing traffic on and off site.Provide progress reports to the Project Manager.Requirements 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role.A third level qualification in construction / civil engineering.Autocad & MS Project skills and general IT skills.Strong subcontractor management skills.Experience working along side clients and dealing with the public.Ability to problem solve and prioritise work effectively.Strong and accurate record keeping abilities.Excellent communication skills.Setting out GPS and Total Stations experience.Full Irish driving licence.Package€ Competitive Salary Package based on experiencePermanent staff roles EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required
