What’s the Role: Team Leader

What It Takes:

An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.

So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.

Our dedicated staff team support our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.

Where You Would Work: Brookvale House / Monaghan Area

Brookvale House is located in Milltown, Monaghan. Brookvale House is the home to 7 residents with ID varying from mild to severe. It is a bungalow with open garden to the back and parking area to the front of the property.

Age range from 24-65 years old. Brookvale House has 3 males and 4 females. 6 residents attend day services while one resident has retired. All support and social activities vary and are dependent on residents wishes/needs and abilities.

Salary Details:

Team Leader

Full Time

€35,069 - €46,541 per annum (Dependant on Qualification)

*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on qualification/experience. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of the national minimum wage per night applies*
