The Accommodation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accommodation facilities, ensuring that guests or residents have a comfortable, clean, and safe environment. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of the Accommodation department and ensure strict compliance with hotels policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
  • Ensure that all areas meet the company's standards for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Liaising & communicating with front office and reservations teams regarding room status.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to accommodation promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train new employees and conduct ongoing training for existing staff.

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. 
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
