Job Title:                Mobile Breakdown Truck Tyre Fitter

Reports to:             Supervisor/Manager

Location: Roscommon/ Athlone

Job Summary:

The Mobile Breakdown Truck Tyre Fitter is responsible to respond to customer breakdowns in the Roscommon/ Athlone and surrounding area. Company Van fully kitted to assist with breakdowns in Athlone/Galway and surrounding area.

Key Tasks Required:

• Repairing and replacing customer's Truck tyres as needed
• Replacing wheels using the torque wrench to achieve final tightening of wheel nuts
• Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer
• Recording all relevant details in the breakdown book
• Using materials, parts and equipment in an efficient manner
• Full compliance with all safety procedures/truck operations essential safety steps
• Ensuring own vehicle is kept clean, with adequate stock and is serviced when necessary
• Adhering fully to the Company's operations manual
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
• Understand and adhere to all the Company policies and procedures/operations manual

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• Must have some level of truck tire experience
• Full Clean Driving Licence essential
