Quantity Surveyor – Building Contractor - DublinOffice/Project Location: DublinEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: OfficePay: €55K-€80KExperience: 3+yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required​Our client is recognised as one of Irelands leading construction companies. They deliver high quality construction projects across a number of sectors, including corporate, health, education, conservation, community and residential.They are seeking Intermediate and Senior Quantity Surveyors to join the team based in Dublin 24. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are seeking a clear route to chartership as they will be provided with ongoing support and mentorshipAdvise and report regularly to the Group Commercial ManagerAs a Quantity Surveyor you will work on multiple projects to maximize commercial returns whilst maintaining positive relationships.Track project deliverables and ensure that commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are utilised.Manage and drive successful delivery of all projects and lead the commercial planning and implementation of assigned project.Carry out an in-depth review of all tender documentation and identify any risk or potential gainsReview and approve selected contractors /suppliersEnsure Contractual correspondence in accordance with contract terms inclusive of detailed analysis and documentation of EOT notifications and claims etcAssist with and manage the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.Reporting on actual costs v estimate and identifying underlying reasons for any variance and resolutions, highlight, challenge and resolve variance to latest plans.Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.Ensures Subcontracts are properly prepared and managedRequirementsThird level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline3+ years experience in a similar role working with buildings or fit out contractorsPackageSalary €55K - €80K negotiable depending on experience and qualificationsPermanent staff role with support to chartership
