This opportunity is perfect for youOur client is currently recruiting for a Graduate Engineerto join their teamin Dublin 2 to join their Capital and Estates departmentThis role is offered on an initial 2 year rolling contract, with great opportunities for extension.Benefits30 days leave35 hour work weekResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, supervising, and delivering major and minor capital works projects.Prepare project briefs, budgets, and contractor recommendations, ensuring compliance with HSE and EU regulations.Provide technical support to service and estates personnel.Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance programs for buildings, services, and equipment.Monitor energy consumption, support energy-saving initiatives, and ensure compliance with fire, safety, and environmental standards.Assist in assessing health, safety, and infrastructural risks to enhance facility performance.Carry out administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and support streamlined processes and high-quality documentation.Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Undertake additional duties and contribute to the ongoing development of the role as required.RequirementsHold a Level 8 (or higher) Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) major academic award in Architecture*, Engineering* or Surveying* accredited by the relevant Professional Institute (Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Engineers Ireland, Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland).OrExpect to graduate with a Level 8 (or higher) Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) major academic award with at least a second-class honour/merit in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil/structural or other engineering discipline relevant to construction) or Engineering or Architectural Graduate in 2025.AndCandidates must possess the requisite professional knowledge and abilityto carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Graduate placement.
