SHEQ Officer – Shannon & Foynes (Full-Time, Permanent)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | No weekends or night shifts

Reports to: SHEQ Manager

The Role

This is a practical, coordination-heavy role supporting Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) systems across two busy industrial sites.

You'll help ensure compliance, maintain documentation, and support internal teams with training, audits, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate SHEQ records and manage all related documentationCoordinate internal audits, risk assessments, and accident investigationsDeliver safety inductions and basic SHEQ training for new staff and visitorsMaintain training and preventative maintenance systemsSupport ISO , , and complianceReview Safety Data Sheets in line with ECHA standardsTrack corrective actions and update MAI systemsOrder lab materials, PPE, first aid kits, and labelsMaintain vehicle records (ADR, CVRT, driver training and data)Prepare and publish SHEQ KPIsAssist customer service and production teams with certification, inspections, and documentation

Requirements

Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant disciplinePrevious experience in a SHEQ roleStrong admin and coordination skillsGood working knowledge of ISO standards (, , )Confident communicator with excellent organisation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong attention to detail and problem-solving approachFlexibility to support across teams and sitesFull driving licence preferred
