A leading insurance client of ours is seeking a skilled and driven Data Analyst to join their high-performing IT team. We are looking at candidates that have insurance experience and are truly passionate about dataResponsibilitiesAnalyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights, delivering clear and compelling reports to stakeholdersDesign, develop, and maintain complex queries and reporting tools across various platformsProduce scheduled and ad hoc reports tailored to the needs of internal teams and external partnersMaintain and enhance the current reporting suite, ensuring accuracy and relevance of filters and datasetsCollaborate closely with business teams to support data-driven strategy and forecastingPartner with senior leadership to prioritize data initiatives and align reporting with business goalsAct as the main point of contact for third-party service providers and capital partners, attending relevant meetings and callsContinuously seek out process improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality across reporting systemsCandidate Requirements3+ years of experience in the Analytics spaceProven commercial experience within the Insurance industry is essentialProven track record in SQL query writing for reporting and ad hoc data explorationAdvanced skills in reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and Excel (including Macros)Solid understanding of the data lifecycle, with the ability to manage and optimize data in SQL databasesExceptional analytical thinking, with the ability to explain insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with executives and external partners#LI-LDM
