This role involves supporting adults and children with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred, respectful, and safe environment.This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high standards of care and support in residential services.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilitiesRespond appropriately to challenging behaviours in both adults and childrenWork collaboratively as part of a team and independently when requiredBuild and maintain positive, professional relationships with service users, families, and other stakeholdersSupport the daily operation of residential servicesEnsure full compliance with HIQA standards and all residential care regulationsEssential Requirements:QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support or a related field (full major award required)Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilitiesFull manual driving licence and access to own transportFlexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skillsA genuine interest in supporting people to live fulfilling and independent livesBenefits:Section 39 pay scales (based on experience, with annual increments)Paid company sick leave and maternity leaveEmployer pension contribution of 24 days annual leaveAccess to Employee Assistance ProgrammeBike to Work SchemeDeath-in-service benefitOngoing training and professional development opportunities
