Hours: per week

Our client, a private Residential Nursing Home based in east Galway is looking to hire several suitable Staff Nurses to join both their Nursing Home and dedicated Rehabilitation / Acquired Brain Injury unit.

Key Duties:

Provide skilled nursing care and support for residents.Plan and deliver education for residents and families, including discharge instructions.Perform firsthand care using the nursing process to achieve good health outcomes.Supervise and guide other nursing staff, using sound judgement, problem-solving, and time management.Act as a role model and resource for staff and students, and take part in nursing committees and professional activities.

Essential Criteria:

Must have a minimum 1 years' experience working as general nurse in clinical, acute or community settings.Experience working with geriatric and older persons would be desirableMust be fully registered with An Bord Altranais/NMBI and have an active PIN.
