Civil Engineer - Civil Contractor - MeathOffice/Project Location: Ballivor, Co.MeathEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Site Based Pay: €Competitive Salary package and negotiable based on experienceExperience: 2+years experience on Civil / Water / Utility projectsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a multi-disciplined Utilities and Civil Engineering Contractor working with Local Authorities, Irish Water, Group Water Schemes, Local & County Councils.Due to continued growth and newly awarded contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, our client is now hiring Civil Engineer for a water infrastructure project based in Meath.As a Civil Engineer you will work closely with the Project Manager and the on-site team. Reviewing and interpreting site drawings and specificationsSetting out works accurately using GPS and Total StationCoordinating with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliersManaging site resources including plant, materials, and labourMonitoring quality and ensuring compliance with company standardsAttending and contributing to regular site meetingsEnforcing health and safety standards and traffic management on sitePreparing progress reports and updates for the Project ManagerSupporting a collaborative and productive site environmentRequirements2+ years’ experience in a similar civil engineering roleA degree in Civil Engineering or Construction-related disciplineProficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and general IT toolsStrong skills in subcontractor coordination and stakeholder communicationPrevious experience on water infrastructure projects is a strong advantageProven ability to problem solve and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent organisational and record-keeping skillsComfortable working alongside clients and the publicExperience with GPS and Total Station setting outFull Irish driving licence.Package€ Competitive Salary Package based on experiencePermanent staff roles EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required
