Reperio has partnered with a company who are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join their high-growth tech team based in Limerick. You'll play a key role in developing and deploying ML models within production environments, working closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
This isn't just about writing notebooks - we're looking for someone who can design and implement scalable ML systems, not just scripts.
Responsibilities:
Build and deploy production-grade machine learning models (classification, regression, NLP, Develop reusable ML pipelines using Python and libraries like scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlowCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into real applicationsConduct model performance analysis and iterate based on business feedbackAutomate model training, validation, and deployment using tools like MLflow, Airflow, or KubernetesContribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and system designRequirements:
4+ years of Python development experience (not just scripting - solid OOP, architecture, testing)Proven experience deploying ML models into production environmentsStrong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and model evaluation metricsExperience with frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlowComfortable working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure)Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD for ML workflowsDesirable:
MLOps experience (., MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker)Exposure to time series forecasting or recommendation systemsExperience working in regulated environments (., medtech, finance) is a plusFamiliarity with RESTful APIs or microservices for model servingBenefits:
