We are Hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology for our Hospital client in Dublin.

 Responsibilities 

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing the symptoms and side effects associated with cancer treatment
  • Providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments
  • Educating patients and families about the disease process, treatment options, and possible side effects
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to devise individualized care plans for patients
  • Conducting research to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of oncology nursing
  • Providing consultation to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals about complex patient care issues
  • Ensuring that cancer care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards
  • Advocating for the needs of cancer patients and their families, providing emotional support and counseling services



Requirements
  • Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registration 

  • Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent in Oncology Nursing 

  • Masters (MSc) in Oncology Nursing is preferred.

  • 3 years of expertise in the speciality area of medical oncology (essential).

  • Have demonstrated clinical and professional ability.

  • Have strong IT abilities and experience with the essential apps.

  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work on his or her own initiative.

  • Have strong communication and leadership abilities, as well as the ability to interact favourably with patients and colleagues.

  • Be energetic and very motivated.

  • Have demonstrated the ability to work under pressure.
