Your New Company A market-leading aviation maintenance specialist based in north Dublin. Your New Role You will be joining a company which is expanding rapidly due to market demand and is making major strides and sustainability developments in the aviation sector.The key duties and responsibilities of an aircraft maintenance technician include:Inspecting aircraft for mechanical problems or damageRepairing and replacing aircraft parts, such as engines, bearings, and landing gearTesting and troubleshooting aircraft systems to ensure proper working conditionsRefuelling and servicing aircraft with necessary fluids and oilsRunning regular diagnostic tests on aircraftResponding to reported mechanical issuesOrdering and replacing malfunctioning parts on planesCleaning and maintaining the enginesReporting any serious issues to management What you'll Need to Succeed A trade qualification, or a mechanical engineering diploma / degree in an engineering discipline.Experience working previously in a maintenance position, working day to day on various types of heavy machinery.Experience working in the aviation industry, manufacturing, automotive or similar industry.Electrical experience is desirable but not compulsory.A driving licence.
