MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT | NORTH COUNTY DUBLIN | PERMANENT

Our client based in North County Dublin is searching for an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join their team. If you have previous experience in Commercial Facilities Maintenance and a full driver's licence with an ability to travel to various sites in Dublin to complete your role, this permanent opportunity will be ideal for you

THE ROLE |

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate and complete general maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities on various sites in Dublin. These sites include operational areas with a commercial setting where the general public attend as well as back-office facilities. You will ensure that work progresses on time and that all checks are carried out ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented appropriately.

RESPONSIBILITIES|

Travel to sites when required and oversee timely repair of equipment and facilities prioritising works with a Health & Safety conscious manner and in line with company policiesCoordinate with sub-contractors for specialised repairsMaintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, inspections, and compliance documentation.Work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that there is a preventative maintenance plan in place for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

REQUIREMENTS |

2 - 3 year's experience in a similar role.General maintenance/DIY abilities such as painting/general upkeep of facilities maintenancePrevious experience in general trades such as plumbing, general labouring skills basic building techniques, floor laying and painting.An Electrical qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.Must have an appreciation and awareness of Health & Safety.Full driving licenceDue to business requirement's ability to work 45 hours a week, 5 days over 7 to include weekends and public holidays
