Mechanical Project Manager - Residential/Commercial Projects - DublinOffice/Project Location: DublinEmployment Type: Permanent Work Location: Office based / Site Based Pay: 60,000k - 80,000Experience: 5+ YearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client provides a range of mechanical and electrical engineering services that include, heating, water services, gas, ventilation and waste service installations and maintenance.Currently recruiting for a Project Manager who has success operating in a range of sectors including education, commercial and industrial. Ideally the candidate will be seeking a long-term opportunity as this is a permanent position based in our head office in Dublin.The Project Managers must ensure that the client’s requirements are met, the project is completed on time and within budget and that the company secure repeat work with the client and maintain relationships. Depending on the project, responsibilities can cover all aspects from the design stage through to completion and handover to the client.You must have the ability and experience in running large mechanical, plumbing and heating contracts for new build housing and commercial projects.Responsibilities include:Agreeing project objectives.management of site teams and coordination of labourmanaging project budgets and attending site meetingsA high level of contractual communicationRepresenting the client’s interest.Risk assessments and method statements / Health & Safety system and procedures.Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines, contacts, H&S and quality are maintained.Monthly forecasting, contract reviews, applications and invoicing throughout the projects.Requirements:5+ Years ExperienceThird level Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering degree/DiplomaProficiency in PC skills.Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills.Strong engineering analytical and problem solving skills.Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.Have proven experience in an engineering role in a Mechanical & Electrical environment.Experience in implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time restricted schedule. Organise and plan technical meetings with clients and Consulting EngineersDevelop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlines.Package:Competitive Salary 60,000k - 80,000Contact:Andrew Taylor is the consultant managing this positionIf you are a Mechanical Project Manager and are interested in this role based in Dublin, you can contact Andrew by e-mail at andrew@jobcontax.com or phone +353-1-5310097 for a confidential chat.JobContax do not send CVs to clients without candidate permission.With over 50 years of technical recruitment experience, JobContax is the leading recruiter of Mechanical Engineers in Ireland.Due to the large volume of applications, JobContax may not be able to respond to every individual.EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required
