Python Backend Developer - ContractRemote Contract role (Need to be based in Ireland)12-month contractYour new company Our client is the next-generation platform designer that helps users solve complex business challenges using advanced multi-agent AI technology.Your new role Collaborate with a development team to build and maintain backend infrastructure for a growing platform.Work across multiple services and modules using a variety of modern frameworks and technologies (e.g., web frameworks, databases, caching systems, messaging queues).Develop and maintain APIs and backend services, including integration with third-party systems such as payment processors, communication tools, and external platforms.Utilise version control tools to manage source code and collaborate with other developers effectively.Write, run, and maintain automated tests to ensure code reliability and quality.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in backend systems as they arise.Optimise system performance and scalability to ensure the platform can handle increasing traffic and workloads.Design systems to efficiently manage traffic distribution and maintain system stability under load.What you'll need to succeed Python Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Python 3.11+; familiarity with tools like LangChain and LangGraph is a plus.Modular Assembly: Ability to collaborate with other back-end developers to assemble proven individual modules within a multiservice, multi-module platform.AI and Emerging Technologies:Passion for AI with a focus on developer tools like Gen AI technologies.Willingness to explore and leverage innovative tools in the AI space.Collaboration and Problem-Solving:Strong ability to collaborate effectively with both front-end and back-end teams.Adaptability to work in environments with evolving requirements and some level of uncertainty.Openness to participate in daily stand-ups and scrum meetings.Experience Level: Typically, 4–6 years+ of experience, with a strong aptitude for embracing new technologies and methodologies.Additional Qualities:Engaging and positive personality, able to work well in team settings.Proactive in learning new technologies and adapting to new methodologies.What you'll get in return Fully remote roles Need to be based in Ireland.500-550 per day (depending on experience)Currently living in IrelandCurrently holding an EEA passport or valid Stamp 4/1G visa.
