This Accounting Practice was established over 25 years ago and has grown to 4 branches throughout Cork. Each branch has its very own Practice Manager and is supported by the Head Office with full support in relation to Administration, Technical, Credit Control and Billing. With 5 partners and over 70 staff, this practice has a solid reputation where it provides a broad range of accounting services to a diverse client range. Your new role
Manage a team of accountants who oversee a portfolio of clients. Your role will involve workflow management and liaising with clients. Based in the Cork City office, you will be responsible for:
Managing a small team of accountants, they are experienced and have their own client base. Completion of the Accounts for a portfolio of client companies including SMEs, individual contractors and large companies.Preparation of Revenue returns and the preparation work for Revenue audits.Manage a diverse and varied range of queries and requests from clients.Liaise with the Tax Department to ensure timely submission of Returns.Ensure Company Secretarial submission timelines are met.You will also assist and mentor some junior staff members.Complete assignments, adhering to internal and external standards and deadlines.Maintaining client relationships is very important. What you'll need to succeed
You must be a Qualified Accountant, ACA Chartered, CPA, ACCA with Irish practice experience.
Strong communication skills are important as the role involves managing accountants.
You should have the ambition to progress in your career and have a desire to learn, improve and understand new methodologies. An ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment would be ideal.
