It has been supporting global healthcare systems in Ireland for more than 20 years and employs nearly 1,600 people. They believe in using tools like artificial intelligence and machine learning to help solve health problems. Your new role As a Python Developer, you will leverage your skills to develop and implement business rules within a pricing system, enhance test automation processes, manage code releases, and document technical logic. You will collaborate closely with the team and gain exposure to ongoing data science initiatives. Develop and implement logic using SQL and Python to apply business rules and create automated tests within a pricing system.Manage code through various development stages, including merges and branch management.Document technical logic and processes clearly.Maintain high standards of quality in design and coding deliverables.Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to address challenges.Work independently with focus and discipline when required.Analyse large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.Follow established solution delivery methodologies and standardsWhat you'll need to succeed Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.Experience with delivering changes to production systems, including familiarity with iterative development methods, deployment processes, version control, and testing best practices.Proficiency with code repository management tools.Solid experience in data analysis and problem-solving.Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms.Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and container technologies.What you'll get in return Hybrid working (2 days in the office a week)Work with the latest technologies & a tech-savvy team12-month contract with potential extension400–600 euros per day depending on experienceGood internal career progressionOpportunity to work with a Fortune 500 companyStamp 4/ EU citizen only
