Job DescriptionSenior Engineer who will work as an integral member of the Environmental Science team in either the Dublin, Cork or Carlow office, aiding the expansion of the environmental business and working closely with fellow professionals. This position offers exposure to a broad range of areas within the environmental sectors, including, but not limited to, planning and EIAR, waste management, infrastructure development, waste licensing and permits, industrial emissions licensing, and environmental due diligence.ResponsibilitiesProject management and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments, Strategic Environmental Assessments, Appropriate Assessments, planning application documentation and other environmental reportsProvide expert environmental technical assistance to the businessActively participate in the delivery of business development initiativesManage the implementation of regulatory approvalsRequirementsEducated to degree level in a relevant environmental disciplineA minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience in an environmental positionChartered status in relevant disciplineExcellence knowledge of planning, environmental and waste management legislationReports, planning and license/permit applications for a wide range of projectsExcellent attention to detailBe flexible and a team playerExcellent report writing and technical reviewing skillsExperience of engaging with external stakeholders, regulatory bodies and sub-contractorsA full driver licencePackageAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate including a competitive salary, shorter working Friday, medical benefit and professional body support.
