An established European tech business is hiring a Front-End Tech Lead to join their growing engineering leadership team. The company operates across 10 countries, managing high-traffic, customer-facing online booking systems at scale.

As the Front-End Tech Lead, you will play a key role in setting the technical direction, leading a team of experienced front-end engineers, and delivering scalable solutions used by millions of users. This is a hands-on leadership role blending architecture, coding, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of front-end developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and architectural oversight.Design and build scalable, high-performance systems for high-volume traffic.Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.Drive best practices in coding, testing, and continuous delivery.Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and help adopt modern tools and frameworks.

Requirements:

8+ years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or tech lead role.Strong expertise in or Angular (senior-level proficiency).Experience working with REST APIs and integrating with backend services.Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and scalable architecture.Experience working in Agile teams and delivering high-quality, production-ready software.Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

Desirable:

Experience in high-traffic industries (travel, e-commerce, hospitality).Exposure to containerization, cloud, and monitoring tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, Grafana,
