We act locally as fund administrator and depositary for a wide range of international clients who manage schemes from UCITS to AIFs including private equity and real estate structures, hedge funds and special investment vehicles.
Within SGSS Ireland, the V.I.E.
will join the Fund Valuation Services (SGSS/FSO/FVS) department, part of the Fund Services Operations Division.
The team is responsible for:
the accounting and valuation of collective investment schemes (UCITS, AIF, PERE funds)financial, regulatory and tax reportingReporting to the Fund Processing Services (FPS) Head of Operations with strong interactions with senior management and the Risk & Compliance department, the future V.I.E.
's responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
Prepare NAV for investment fundsBook and reconcile transactionsEnsure all portfolio prices are correct and in line with the procedures & fund valuation policyReport & escalate issues to management promptlyInteract with clients, brokers, banks when requiredAssist in the preparation and follow up of budgetsAssist in the production of financial and regulatory reportsPrepare activity & risk dashboardsAttend meetings, prepare minutes and matters arisingFollow action logs & projects liaising with the management & project teamMonitor regulatory changesClient invoicingParticipate in projects as may be requiredDue to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided.

• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Business or Finance

• A previous experience in financial reporting and/or audit experience with knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS would be appreciated
Language skills:

• Fluent in English (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Proficient/Good command of MS Office

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Knowledge of PAYE / PRSI / VAT reporting an advantage

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Flexibility, Adaptability and willingness to learn essential

• Aptitude for figures

• Attention to detail

• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels

• Experience of working to deadlines

• Have a thorough understanding of accounting principles together with an awareness of all current technical issues
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Dublin is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment.
It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
