Join the HUSTLE. POSITION: Assistant Studio Manager - Dublin
DEPARTMENT: Operations
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent/Full Time

OBJECTIVE: As Assistant Studio Manager, you will support the Studio Manager to oversee and manage the day to day studio operations whilst assisting in managing in studio teams to ensure we are building a strong local community and delivering the best possible client experience.
This role requires a strong balance between maintaining best practice in both studio operations and people management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO CLIENT EXPERIENCE Support the Studio Manager to deliver the brand vision and ensure this is lived and demonstrated in the studio at all timesPartner with the Studio Manager to create, build and maintain a strong local community and assist with client queries to maintain the highest level of service at all timesWork studio shifts to showcase the best of brand skills and support the day to day management of in studio teamsAssist with in-studio client experience projectsWork with the Studio Manager to identify areas of improvement or opportunity based on client feedbackSupport with private or special events within your studio when requestedMaintain the highest level of service at all times and feedback team's performance to the Studio Manager when necessaryPartner with Studio Manager to deliver all marketing campaigns within studios effectively and efficientlyOPERATIONS Support the Studio Manager with the daily operations of the studioAssist with orders and maintain stock levels for all studio supplies, inclusive of Fuel Bar, Retail and the Red RoomEnsure shifts are recorded and approved accordingly when the Studio Manager is absentSupport with arranging cover for holiday requests, sickness and emergency absence when requestedSupport the Studio Manager to ensure the studio has adequate staffing coverage, including supporting with recruitmentTroubleshoot operational issues and be on call to assist with any studio emergencies when the Studio Manager is off duty and report any issues to the Studio ManagerReport any Health and Safety risks to the Studio Manager and support with record keepingIn the absence of the Studio Manager, record and approve shifts and manage studio monthly payrollLEADERSHIP Be the main point of contact in Studio Managers absence.
Report to the Head of Client Experience where requiredHelp deliver company communications to the relevant employees within your studioSupport with training and development for in studio teamsAssist the Studio Manager on addressing employee relations concerns whilst also recognising achievementsEducate staff on the Barry's Handbook and promote a positive working environmentWHAT YOU'LL NEED At least 2 years experience within a similar management roleAssertive and clear style of communicationStrategic thinkerStrong delegation, time management, and leadership skillsAbility to work on your own initiative to solve a range of problems that may ariseAbility to maintain effective working relationships at all levelsProven ability to multi-task and communicate across departmentsExceptional attention to detailAbility to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and delegate work where necessaryExcellent supervisory and conflict resolution skillsExperience developing, coaching, and mentoring diverse teams is preferredUnderstanding of the fitness, health and wellness industriesPassion for the Barry's brandFURTHER INFORMATION Your normal working hours are not variable; however, your working pattern will vary depending on the needs of the business.
You will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours a week over Monday to Sunday between 5.30am and 11.30pm.
You will be required to coordinate your working schedule each week with the Studio Manager's working schedule to ensure that there is full studio coverage and a point of contact throughout studio operating hours.
This will include at least one open and one close each week.This role includes weekend work.You may be required to work at marketing events outside of the studio when required.Other duties may be assigned on an ad hoc basis.BENEFITS Free gym membershipCompany social eventsDevelopment/Training opportunitiesDiscretionary Bonus SchemeNOTE This description reflects the job content at time of writing and will be subject to periodic change in the light of changing operational and environmental requirements.
