Healthcare 21 are a leading provider of specialist healthcare and scientific products and services, providing outsourced sales, marketing, logistics and technicalservicesforthe medical and scientific sectors.

The successful candidate will have a Science or Engineering degree or equivalent or 2 years relevant industry experience and qualifications as outlined below.
Full OEM training will be provided along with continued support and coaching from management and colleagues within the Scientific Engineering teamCandidate Location: ROI - NationwideResponsibilities:Support a wide range of Scientific instrumentation located within the hospital, pharmaceutical and industrial environment, initially being OEM trained and working on Becton Dickinson Microbiology and Epredia Histology and Cytology instrumentationProvide technical support, repair, installation and commissioning of leading brands in Scientific instrumentationPerform routine maintenance as per the manufacturers guidelinesDevelop and maintain a good relationship with all customersWork with service administration to schedule regular customer maintenance/breakdowns to ensure KPI targets are metHas strong PC knowledge on Windows based OS both hardware and softwareAssist with demonstrations, when requiredTo provide emergency assistance to customers, when requiredDocument preparation and certificate issuing as candidate will be working in GMP and hospital laboratories.Maintain correct boot stockAbility to work as part of the Service TeamFull awareness and participation in relevant SOPsWork closely with managers and provide daily progress updatesAbility to work in a safety conscious manner and with consideration for Healthcare 21 customers to minimise their disruptionWhat are the role requirements?Strong technical diagnostic capability, fault finding / problem solving, and judgement skills are essential in this roleCustomer focused with a courteous and professional mannerExcellent communication skills, written & verbalStrong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work on your own initiative & as part of a teamGood organisational and timekeeping skillsAbility to prioritise own workload, work to deadlines and deal with conflicting work pressuresSelf-driven, results orientated with a clear focus on high quality and customer relationshipsWho exceeds in this role?Top performers would have:Minimum of a Science Engineering degree or equivalent or 2 years relevant industry experience and qualificationsFull clean driving license is essentialExperience in fault finding & problem solvingStrong PC skillsSuccessful completion of Garda VettingFlexibility & availability to travel and work away from home when requiredWhat are some of the benefits of working at healthcare 21?Competitive salary and bonus structureFully expensed company vehicleLunch allowanceEmployee Assistance ProgramPension, Life assurance, income protectionEducational AssistanceHC21 training academyEnhanced annual and life leave Employee engagement initiatives and a dedicated internal employee communication platform WorkVivoSupportive colleagues to learn from and enjoy company social outings, parties, and eventsWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
