Main Purpose of Role: The role involves being a key support to our pipe fabrication business and involve: Production of 3D pipework drawings to the highest standard to enable an efficient production cycle.
Utilise Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D software to produce detailed engineering designs and drawings.
Role Duties: Work closely with the wider team members to ensure accurate and precise technical drawings.
Participate in project meetings, offering technical insights and recommendations for optimisation and efficiency.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of drawings into the production cycle.
Adhere to project timelines and effectively manage workload to meet project deadlines.
Conduct regular quality control checks on drawings and models to maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in related software technologies.
Maintaining a culture of continuous improvements.
To ensure maximum flexibility and to reflect the Company's evolving needs, additional tasks and responsibilities will form part of this role as it evolves.
Qualifications & Skills Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a mechanical environment with knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D, less experience will be considered for exceptional candidates Knowledge /experience of construction techniques and building regulations Must be proficient in Autodesk Software.
Experience in other forms of software is desirable.
Ideally will have experience in a mechanical environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage many tasks concurrently.
Excellent clear and concise communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
Fluent English is essential.
A strong ability to problem solve with the support of the team.
