We are currently recruiting a QC Operator on behalf of a multinational company based in Shannon, Co. Clare.
This role is initially offered as a 12-month contract, with a strong possibility of permanency for the right candidate.
The position operates on a day shift schedule.
As a QC Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
Responsibilities include performing quality checks, containerization, Fria testing, cycle counting, and utilizing computer systems for inventory and MRP management.
The role also requires experience in sieving products, conducting detailed inspections using microscopes, and performing weighing and quality testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities: 1.Perform rigorous quality checks on products according to established procedures.
2.Containerization of products for safe handling and storage.
3.Conduct Fria testing to assess product performance under specified conditions.
4.Perform cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records.
5.Utilize computer systems for real-time inventory tracking and management.
6.Operate within MRP systems to ensure production planning aligns with inventory needs.
7.Sieve products to ensure uniformity and adherence to quality standards.
8.Use microscopes for detailed inspection and analysis of product samples.
9.
Conduct weighing and testing of products to verify quality specifications.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar QC role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory management.
Knowledge of MRP systems and their application in manufacturing environments.
Ability to operate sieving equipment and microscopes effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing quality checks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
