Responsibilities: The successful candidate will play a key role in managing civil works, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Oversee the design and construction of electrical projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Monitor and manage civil engineering aspects, including site preparation, foundations, substation building, ducting, drainage, and existing service crossings.
Work closely with designers, contractors, and project managers to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with company representatives, local authorities, and other stakeholders for necessary approvals and inspections.
Prepare progress reports and as built documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve any engineering issues that arise during construction.
Experience: Bachelors degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience in civil engineering, preferably in electrical infrastructure projects.
Experience with service crossings, trenching, ducting, and associated civil works.
Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software Full driving license and willingness to travel to site locations as needed.
