Business Processes Consulting Detailed design and implementation of business processes; enforces innovation, service offerings and productization.

Core Tasks include: Evaluation of innovative industry- and technology- trends and development of corresponding industry process- and solution-maps.
Support for internal strategic portfolio planning.
Enforcement of industry-specific service-offerings.
Detailed design of industry-specific / corporate customer processes.
Identification of enterprise services.
Proposal of software-decisions (SAP-/Non-SAP-products) within the customer Process-, Application- and IT-landscape based on BPP.
Mapping of business process to enterprise IT-architecture.
Define requirements for individual development or integration needs.
Performance of reviews (process oriented and relation to IT-mapping).
Define corresponding organizational structure.
Map and validate performance indicators (designed by Transf.
Manager).
Implementation of designed processes.
Accountability Manages projects, defines deliverables and provides definitive advice and interpretation of situations.
Ensures business critical & innovative results.
Ensures that goals and milestones are met and approved budgets are managed appropriately.
Builds strategic partnerships with key decision makers in customer & partner organization.
May include team lead or supervisory responsibilities.
Complexity Manages projects of high volume or high risk/complexity.
Provides regular project status and updates.
Experience Sound professional experience.
Deep knowledge of project management skills.
Depending on LoB has a PMI, Six Sigma or equivalent certification.
If in Six Sigma has black belt.
Communication Represents SAP to customers - is responsible for delivery of quality outcomes of projects of high volume or high risk.
Finds common ground for cooperation within project team.
Formulates clear project plans incl.
milestones, timeline and sub-projects.
Communicates messages relevant for project in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to project team.
Captures opinions and expectations of stakeholders and communicates them to the project team.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks Drives business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions > Maps business processes to solution requirements.
Champions and leads disruptive business innovation.
Provides thought leadership around the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise.
Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives.
Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards.
Plans transitions of customer solution landscapes.
Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs.
Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies.
Supports in escalated projects.
Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery.
Delivers customer workshops and trainings.
Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
Introduces SAP and industry leading practices for complex business requirements based on experience.
Drives the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or initiates updates to the portfolio.
Drives the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes.
Mentors business process consultants.
Experience and Educational Requirements Several years of experience in business process consulting.
Has a minimum of seven years' experience in service delivery.
Deep understanding of industry and/or LoB specific business processes.
Holistic understanding of the relevant end-to-end processes of SAP's Intelligent Enterprise Suite.
Has performed feasibility studies / PoCs etc.
Has managed difficult client situations.
Good understanding of public cloud software.
As a sub project lead and/or team lead in a service engagement.
As a coach for colleagues.
As a community lead, stream lead or topic owner within an internal community.
Education University degree or equivalent work experience.
Solution Certification.
