Who we are looking for: The Business Regulatory Change team oversees and supports the monitoring, assessment of impact and implementation of regulatory change affecting State Street Global Advisors' ("SSGA") global business.
Coming at a time when there is significant breadth to the UK & EU's regulatory agenda impacting our business, the purpose of the role is to ensure: Lead the delivery of regulatory business impact assessments.
Working with stakeholders to lead and support the co-ordination of regulatory change within the business.
Working with stakeholders to lead and support the development of responses to relevant Consultation and Discussion Papers.
This role will involve on working with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the firm, Control Functions and SSGA's senior management, up to and including the legal entity boards within the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of high-quality business impact assessments of changes to regulations.
Build and develop effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders within SSGA and the wider State Street Corporation, to deliver timely and effective outcomes.
Lead the monitoring and oversight of SSGA's timely compliance with the State Street's Global Regulatory Change Management Process.
Lead the co-ordination of a diverse range of stakeholders, at different levels to provide responses to priority Discussion and Consultation Papers impacting our EMEA business.
Actively support the management of and associated reporting to, the EMEA Regulatory Change Working Group.
Assist the Head of Business Regulatory Change with the execution of the team's global strategy Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher.
Investment or industry professional qualifications an advantage.
At least 5 years' experience working for a European asset manager, service provider to the financial services industry, or regulatory focused on regulatory strategy and/or regulatory change.
Good understanding of European law and financial services regulation combined with a detailed understanding core regulations impacting asset managers in the region, including, MiFID, UCITS and AIFMD.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills evidenced across a diverse range of stakeholders, up to CEO and board level.
Superb organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and ensuring tasks are delivered to agreed timelines.
High levels of initiative and ability to process and communicate complex issues simply and straightforwardly.
Ability to prioritize effectively when faced with competing deliverables and maintain high quality outcomes.
