Design Engineer A major player in Physical Product Design manufacturing is now seeking a Design Engineer in Dublin
THE COMPANY: Our client is a proudly Irish-owned company with nearly 40 years of experience in product design and innovation.

Specializing in transforming ideas into market-ready solutions, they partner with global brands, startups, and SMEs across industries such as medical devices, consumer products, and industrial design.

Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are now seeking a Design Engineer to join their team in Dublin.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to an engineering consultancy at the forefront of product design
THE ROLE: The successful applicant will be fully site-based at their Dublin facility, with the following duties: CAD development of whole products and systems as well as mechanisms and sub-assemblies End-to-end involvement in DFM projects from concept through to manufacture stages Working with external clients and other suppliers providing technical detail and 2 D engineering drawings Using varied materials and engineering processes such as plastic injection moulding, machining, sheet metal fabrication and casting Performing tolerance analysis using tools such as FMEA, CFD and computer simulation THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to those from the following backgrounds: 1-2 years' experience in Physical Product Design is a requirement Prior experience with CAD through Solidworks or Creo is essential Being able to display a portfolio of previous design works demonstrating projects from start to finish is extremely advantageous Any experience with Plastic moulding injection for mass manufacture is extremely advantageous but not a prerequisite A qualification in one of Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering is desirable THE PACKAGE: Salary: €38k-€45k DOE Pension 21 days hols + 2 weeks at Christmas
