This is a 30-day Contract.
Project starts 10th March, 2025.
Responsibilities include: Support Permitting Process for upcoming geophysical, hydrographic and habitat mapping surveys.
Support compliance with permitting requirements and incorporate reporting requirements to survey guidance & reporting documentation.
Support client procurement of geophysical services for future operations.
Review and finalise an SOP / Guidance document on the setup and delivery of 2D Seismic Geophysical Surveys (Acquisition).
Review and finalise reporting, logging, and equipment configuration templates.
Review and QC of all associated 2D Seismic Geophysical Survey Reporting.
A Degree in Geology, Marine Geophysics, Earth Science, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of geophysical/hydrographic survey interpretation experience.
Extensive operational and/or sea-going experience with a geophysical or hydrographic survey team on various projects.
Thoroughly demonstrated knowledge of survey operations with acoustic/seismic data acquisition and interpretation systems.
Thorough knowledge of multibeam (swathe), side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, sparker, magnetometer, and seismic sources.
Demonstrated experience in the integration of multiple sensors into ground models.
