· Ensure all bakery products meet quality, presentation, and freshness standards.
· Manage stock levels, ordering, and waste control to maximise profitability.
· Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and HACCP regulations.
· Train, develop, and motivate staff to enhance performance and productivity.
· Implement promotions and merchandising plans to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
· Monitor department KPIs and take action to improve performance where necessary.
· Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
Skills & Experience Required: · Previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role within a bakery or fresh food retail environment.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Knowledge of bakery production, stock control, and HACCP standards.
· Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
· Flexible and adaptable with a hands-on approach to work.
