The positionThe overall purpose of the Wind O&M Coordinator role is to assist with the day to day running of operations within the team.
This includes supporting the programming and scheduling of works, Invoicing and billing management, Obtaining and putting together quotations for small works, Document and quality control, The raising and issuing of Work Orders and any other supporting activities and requirements of the team.The ideal candidate will be from a coordination or administration background with a high level of organisation and computer literacy.
This is a permanent role which is primarily office based.RES is a leader in renewable energy and is expanding its reach in the O&M area of operational services.
The business unit currently operates and maintains a portfolio of wind assets and has ambitious plans to further expand.AccountabilitiesThe O&M Coordinator shall focus on the daily, weekly and monthly needs of the O&M team, supporting the regional Operations Managers and other staff to deliver the service in a safe, compliant, professional, and cost-effective manner.The responsibilities of the O&M Coordinator include:Responding to daily requests for support from the site technicians, prioritise any issues, and escalate as required.Monitoring compliance with maintenance schedules / reports, to ensure the highest quality of documentation for completed maintenance, identify upcoming maintenance tasks, highlight overdue items for attention, and action defectsCompiling summaries of maintenance work completed, collating photographs, and drafting relevant insights, for monthly client reporting.Stock management and procurement of materials.
Lead an improvement activity to increase the quality and efficiency of this task.Support technicians with their day to day requirements from holiday requests to booking hotels for work travel.Administer equipment warranty claimsCoordinate PPE maintenance and new ordersMaintaining a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other quality management tools as necessaryEnsuring client invoicing for any chargeable items (including spare parts) is carried out accurately and promptlyHelp organise team meetings and annual team eventsSupport monthly & annual reporting tasksAnalysis of maintenance KPIs and highlighting trends and anomaliesThe raising and closing of job workordersThe raising, management and closing of purchase ordersThe ordering of materials as required for small defect rectificationObtaining quotations from suppliers and putting together quotations for small works.The efficient programming of EngineersWork programme management.KnowledgeFully competent with Microsoft office and overall good computer skills.Presentation and report preparationStock control and fleet managementGeneral Operation team supportSkillsMust have excellent communication skills.Be organisedAbility to adapt to fast moving environmentExperienceHave carried out a similar administrative role or Co Ordinator role previously.Able to demonstrate operating in a fast paced and demanding environment.Well organised and self-motivatedQualificationsBusiness Degree or Business administration qualification.At RES, we celebrate differences as we know it makes our company a great place to work.
