Team/Role Overview: Serving clients in 95 countries, Services provides integrated payments and collections, liquidity management, short term financing and trade financing, Investor Services (including Custody, Fund Services and Execution Services) and Issuer Services solutions to multinational corporations, financial institutions, public sector organisations and increasingly mid-sized corporate clients with global needs.
These services are supported by our extensive on-the-ground local market expertise, innovative technologies, customised data solutions and a wide range of solutions that can be tailored to meet clients' needs.
The Payments business is one of 5 business lines within Services and operates across the 95 countries.
The Payments Target Operating Model Director is a senior level position and will be vital in driving Payments to our Target Operating Model (TOM) with a focus on ensuring the delivery of a scalable model that aligns to our business strategy.
This role will be central in bringing the organisation together across Payments Product, PDS Product, Operations, Technology, Controls, Operational Risk Management and other second line partners to define priorities, drive results and accelerate the execution of our strategy.
This global role will report to the Head of UK and Europe Payments & Operations Transformation and requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of the Payments business and ideally a thorough understanding of the operational environment.
The role also requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills and a strong focus on execution.
This role will place the successful candidate at the heart of Citi's Payment Business with responsibility for one of our critical priorities and with significant ability to shape the future.
What we'll need from you: Responsible in conjunction with Operations and Technology partners for the execution of programs that delivers a scalable defined Target Operating Model fully aligned to our business strategy.Ensure continuous alignment between product strategy and our operational productivity and risk objectives and ensuring systematic incorporation of key metrics into our product and operations management disciplines.Act as horizontal lead for product decisioning and design when issue at hand cuts across multiple products.Responsible for developing a sustainable holistic model that identifies, prioritises, and executes productivity, scale, modernisation, and risk reduction initiatives with consistent metrics embedded into our investment process.Engage across PDS, Partnership team and broader organisation to explore needle moving partnership opportunities.Responsible for execution acceleration through robust planning and dynamic unblocking of issues.Ensure the systematic incorporation of other key firm and Services wide objectives into our Target Operating Model E.g.
