Closely aligning all stakeholders to achieve the best product, with greater product efficiencies is the ultimate goal of each transfer project.
The transfer process is an ideal window in which to achieve these efficiencies by undertaking DFM, process optimization, sustaining engineering, process automation, supply chain optimization and the application of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
We are looking for an individual who can work with our engineering teams to streamline our documentation systems, streamline part, item and BOM creation.
Develop clear concise procedures to ensure engineers provide accurate data to drive efficient planning and financial processes.
Job ResponsibilitiesManage new designs through product lifecycle from concept into volume manufacturing.Work as part of the team to drive product and process improvements.Work closely with Subject Matter Experts in the business to ensure all new products fit within Creganna Medical's existing manufacturing capability.Opportunity to become Subject Matter Expert in specialized processes.Work closely with TEOA and operations teams to ensure that any new processes developed meet world-class manufacturing standards.Design and introduce manufacturing processes for new products to meet the demands of productivity and quality.Ensure that complete and effective validations are carried out on all processes before transferring to manufacture.Identify and put in place permanent and effective technical/system solutions to problems.Maintain high quality/compliance standards in line with Medical Devices manufacturing requirements within Creganna Medical.Applying Lean principles to identify and develop improvements that increase key process metrics of yield, throughput and productivity.Investigate new process technologies and evaluate potential competitive advantages and the cost benefit of introduction.Manage external relationships with technology providers/suppliers.Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are fulfilled.
What your background should look like:Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with at least 2 years of experience.Strong technical background and capabilities.New product introduction experience is desirable.Motivated to work on own initiative and the ability to make and implement decisions.Knowledge of ISO and FDA compliance with emphasis on validation.
Equipment validation, process validation and test method validation experience is essential.Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles.Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.A demonstrated ability to solve problems with innovative and cost-effective solutions.Computer literate - 3D Modelling and Cagila are desirable.Proven track record of excellent timekeeping & attendance is essential.
