We currently need a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our growing Building Services Engineering team.
We continue to win significant projects, where we have the opportunity to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Engineer with experience looking to further their career within a leading-edge consultancy with a friendly office and remote working environment.

This is a permanent role that offers excellent prospects for career development and the opportunity to be involved in a diverse and challenging range of design projects across all sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, retail, leisure, and educational.

As an integral member of our building engineering team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of projects and expected to take them from initial brief through scheme and detail design to installation and commissioning support.
What you'll do Project Planning and ManagementPreparation of contract documentation and specificationsDesigning and reviewing design work of intermediate and junior engineersCoordination of work with all members of design teams (architect, engineers of all disciplines, QS etc.
)Ensuring that all designs and documents are prepared to the highest standardsEstimating and cost control on projectsCompiling project reportsConceptual design studies and reportsMentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers in the groupWith our commitment to training and development and our CPD accreditation from the Institution of Engineers of Ireland, you can expect to build on your experience and skills in a supportive and challenging environment.
Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what's possible? Requirements: Degree in Electrical Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalentChartered EngineerTechnically excellent with in-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulationsExperience in a wide range of medium to large-scale projectsExperience in leading and supervising multi-disciplinary design teamsProven team player with management experienceOrganised and adaptable with a flexible approach to workAbility to deliver projects on time and within budgetCompetent in electrical design softwareHighly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challengesWe celebrate diversity, including neurodiversity, and believe it enriches our team.
