The Product Operations team is looking for a passionate, self-motivated and hard-working Senior Buyer to be part of a diverse, dynamic and high-energy Supply Chain team.
You will report directly to the Materials Manager and will have responsibilities for a range of commodities and reporting processes.
You will collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure the efficiency of our procurement processes.
DescriptionCoordinate the P.O placement with the Suppliers, OEMs, and other related functions.Ensure Supplier Performance and delivery commitments are met.Handle logistical issues among our partner manufacturers/suppliers and Apple.Engage directly with Global Supply Managers to confirm component and commodity pricing.Support site to site material transfers.EOL Management - Elimination of Excess and Obsolete material.Drive the monthly reserves process and dispositions.Provide regular forecasting to the supply base.Ensure all POs align with the correct pricing and interact closely with cross-functional teams to resolve any invoice issues.Support the daily shortage process.You will support NPI activity across various programs.Drive Process improvement.Successful candidate will be required to liaise across time zones with Asia and the US.Minimum QualificationsMeaningful experience in a Supply Chain role in a global technology manufacturing operation.Experienced SAP user.Strong data analysis and numeric skills to identify trends and business opportunities.Preferred QualificationsFormal qualification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement would be an advantage.Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across an organization.Strong communication and presentation abilities, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization.
