Your role and responsibilitiesBeing an AI Engineer involves creating learning systems that enable humans and machines to perform better.
These systems are designed to create new partnerships between people and machines to augment and scale human expertise in every industry, from healthcare to financial services to education.
What You'll Do:Create and maintain machine learning modelsWork in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand and develop solutions for requirements.
You'll be involved in designing, coding and testing innovative applications in areas such as machine learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), dialogue patterns, extraction, classification and reinforcement learning with exploration.Collaborate with research teams to adopt the latest technologies in AI and ML.Deploy and maintain conversational AI microservicesRequired educationNone

Required technical and professional expertiseProfessional experience using Java to deliver AI-based applications into production environmentsProfessional experience in Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, scikit-learn, or similar frameworksApplied knowledge in LLMsExperience running AI-based application experiments and making changesPreferred technical and professional experienceExperience working on AI and/or ML projects & deploying into productionAbility to develop and debug nondeterministic, adaptive systemsExperience with multi-modal LLMsExperience with product grade decoder, training speech to text models and applied ML algorithms is a plusExperience with Voice/Protocols SIP/RTP is a plusABOUT BUSINESS UNITIBM Software infuses core business operations with intelligence—from machine learning to generative AI—to help make organizations more responsive, productive, and resilient.
