The Senior Manager Accounting will be responsible for management of the Inventory Accounting team based in Limerick in connection with the Company's biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Limerick and International entities.
A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following: Reporting of monthly actual results for inventory for the international entities Responsible for Profit in Inventory Elimination for international entities Managing and maintaining the company's inventory and standard cost system using Oracle Process Manufacturing, including annual standards' development, and reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations for all Inventory accounts.
Working with Master Data Management to ensure production Recipes / BOM's are accurate and are reflected in the Standard Costing calculations Reviewing Sub Ledger (Production, Inventory, Purchasing, Revaluation, Order Management) Responsible for coordination and review of quarterly inventory reserves Working with corporate accounting department (monthly, quarterly close) Collaborating closely with Regeneron's corporate and Rensselaer accounting departments Reviewing monthly Project Accounting Assisting in developing and improving internal controls and written policies and procedures as well as ensuring all accurate internal controls are in place in conformity with Sarbanes Oxley This role might be for you if: You have strong organisational and project management abilities and demonstrate good attention to detail You are a self-starter with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, operating effectively both independently and within a team environment You have the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously You have the ability to own responsibilities and processes and to adapt to changing circumstances You have experience with ERP financial applications, Oracle applications a distinct advantage To be considered for this position you must hold a professional accountancy qualification with 10+ years post qualification experience.
A minimum of 5 years people management experience is a requirement.
Experience ideally in a multinational manufacturing environment.
Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
Knowledge of Oracle Systems a distinct advantage.
