Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of meal ingredients, including washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruits, vegetables, poultry, and meat.
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas, washing and storing cooking appliances, utensils, and dishes.
Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory control, organizing and storing food supplies, and ensuring that the kitchen is adequately stocked.
Maintaining Hygiene: Ensuring that all kitchen areas are clean and meet established standards of hygiene.
Supporting the Chef: Working under the supervision of a chef to ensure that everything is done in a timely and professional manner.
Waste Management: Removing garbage, washing garbage cans, and clearing refrigerators, freezers, and storage rooms.
