The Process Technician completes order processing activities and ensures that all orders are prepared and ready for shipment in a timely fashion as well as maintaining the Warehouse in a neat and tidy fashion.
The role also includes the responsibility to carry out cleaning duties as requested.
Responsibilities will include:Prepare orders for shipping.Receive job tasks on a daily basis.Research label information and packaging instructions.Locate products in Warehouse.Retrieve products.Select appropriate packaging based on Transportation of Dangerous Goods standards.Weigh orders.Package orders.Place orders in shipping area.In process testing, pH conductions and titrations.Prepare samples for quality department and customers.Record mass balance of raw materials and finished products.Additional Responsibilities:Determine required protective equipment based on product labels.Put on appropriate protective equipment.Transfer products to appropriate containers.Ensure materials are being transferred according to WHMIS and Transfer of Dangerous Goods standards.Maintain equipment stocks of filters, hosing, and connectors.Ensure no spilling or leaking occurs during transfer.Examine packaged products.Advise relevant personnel of any leaks, spills, or potentially dangerous situations.Place containers on shelf or give to Shipper/Receiver for shipping.Cleaning Duties:Carry out cleaning duties as per requirements.Clean designated work area as requested by Manager.Tend to extra cleaning duties as requested.Required Experience & Knowledge:Specific Experience:
• 2 years industry experience (Required)
• Physically able (Required)
• WHMIS and TDG training certificate (Preferred)
