Our client, a leading supplier of fresh baked goods across the island of Ireland, is looking for a Sales Manager to assist with their growth plans in Northern Ireland.

The Role

Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve and exceed profitable sales targets. Focus on expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth.

  • Lead and inspire the van-sales and distribution teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
  • Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective promotional campaigns and initiatives that support business development efforts.
The Person We Are Looking For
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, ideally within the fresh food industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing a van sales team is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Proficient in creating detailed reports and utilising computer skills to analyse sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • A passion for the baked goods industry and an understanding of the market and customer preferences.

A full, clean driving licence is required.
