HVAC Service Engineer (Dublin) Our client, a fast-growing global leader in data centre cooling solutions, is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and organized HVAC Service Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dublin.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining mission-critical cooling systems across Ireland.
This position requires a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment. Key Responsibilities: Service, Maintenance, and Commissioning: Provide high-quality service, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC equipment and systems in line with company standards, vision, and health & safety policies.Attend customer sites as scheduled and directed by the Service Controller or Service Manager.Emergency Response & 24/7 On-Call Rota: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota, responding promptly to emergency after-hours service requests within the agreed-upon KPIs.Preventative Maintenance & Fault Diagnosis: Perform planned preventative maintenance on customer equipment, following either company or third-party specifications.Diagnose faults, identify faulty components, and determine the root cause of equipment failures with precision.Repairs and Compliance: Conduct repairs to factory standards and within budget, adhering to the project scope.Operate effectively in mission-critical environments, maintaining high standards of safety and performance.Ensure full compliance with all relevant industry regulations, including Health & Safety and F-Gas.Service Reports & Customer Relations: Submit accurate and detailed service and maintenance reports using the company's service management software, meeting KPIs.Proactively identify and pursue new maintenance and service opportunities with existing and potential customers.Team Support & Collaboration: Offer support to team members in other regions as needed, based on project and service demands.Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, sharing valuable insights from the field.Health & Safety & Compliance: Always adhere to statutory, company, and customer health and safety requirements.Comply with company and customer security policies and instructions at all times.Cross-Department Support: Support other teams as required, including project engineering, sales, and product technical support, depending on business needs.Qualifications & Experience: Educational Background: Formal qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, HVAC, or Mechanical/Building Services.Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.Extensive knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including controls.Certifications: F-Gas Certification.Specialized Knowledge: Experience with air handling, CRAC/CRAH split systems, and VRF systems.Experience with adiabatic cooling and chillers is a plus but not essential.Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
