In the Services Procurement Team at BT Sourced, your impact will be substantial.
You are part of a team that manages over EUR 2.3 billion of BT Group's expenditure, spanning critical areas such as Facilities Management, Energy, Marketing, Professional Services, Resourcing, Fleet, and Logistics.
This role isn't just about managing categories; it's about shaping the future of procurement in a way that supports BT's wider strategic objectives, contributes to sustainable practices, and harnesses the power of digital transformation.
The Procurement Manager is responsible for driving and delivering the procurement plan and activities in IT Software Category including overall Category Management, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Business Partnering practice.
This role develops and implements sourcing strategies, tender execution and contracting under Procurement framework, policies and procedures.
This role holds strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement competency and continuous value delivery.
What you'll be doingCreate and deliver category plans and sourcing activities specifically for BT Customer Facing Units (Consumer & Business)Drive and deliver end-to-end sourcing projects including complex contractual and pricing modelsDevelop and deliver policies and frameworks underpin products and service deliveryManage relationships with key suppliers, negotiate commercial and contractual arrangements and incorporate innovative improvement initiatives.Build and maintain category expertise and apply best practices.Identify business improvements leveraging the commercial, design and process to minimise the Total Cost of OwnershipAdhere to procurement processes and activities with other procurement teamsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the business objectives and key transformational programmesThe skills you'll needRelevant experience as a leader within the Procurement functionStrong business expertise in IT Software category, particularly around supplier capabilities and commercial models required to deliver against customer requirementsDemonstrates a track record of decision-making capability and deliver against key metricsStrong communication, relationship management skills & ability to influence decision making with senior stakeholdersAbility to manage complex, strategic and commercial requirements between BT and SuppliersExperience in business partnering and supplier relationship managementDemonstrates strong continuous improvement skills that exceeds customer expectationsHow to Apply
