We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Actuary to join a leading professional services firm as a Non–Life Actuarial Manager.
This position is based in Dublin city centre and has a hybrid working policy.
The successful candidate will ideally have 2 years post qualification experience in a non-life or reinsurance position preferably with a financial reporting, capital, financial modelling or data analytics background.
About the Non–Life Actuarial Manager role Duties for this role include (but are not limited to): Reviewing profitability and pricing support.
Cross functional collaboration in a broad range of departments.
Aid in the development of Solvency II, IFRS 17 and data analytics and applied intelligence.
Provisioning of outsourced actuarial services and formal actuarial opinions.
Liaising with a portfolio of clients and advising on relevant actuarial issues.
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients.
Actuarial skills required This position would suit a Qualified Actuary who has two years post qualified experience working in non-life or reinsurance.
Candidates must ideally have experience of the following: Self-Driven team player who can work effectively both as part of team and on their own.
Strong commercial awareness and technical skills.
Great written and verbal communication skills.
Financial Modelling, Coding, automation and data analytics capabilities.
Desire to expand both knowledge and skills.
