PE Global Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading Data Centre delivery partner to recruit a Mechanical Lead to join the team in Finland.
This is a full time, permanent role, worked on a rotational basis in Finland.
The Company: This organisation is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to their clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe.
They specialise in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.
This organisation has grown to become the leading and most trusted company in the sector and is the only dedicated Data Centre delivery partner in Europe.
They are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead to join our team.
This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland.
Responsibilities: Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion Display commercial astuteness Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications.
Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team Oversee highest quality of health and safety Requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant area Strong knowledge of procurement Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential Experience in the delivery in Data Centre MEP projects Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
